Originally from Poland, Dr. Fotek began her distinguished journey with a Doctorate in Medicine in Dentistry from the esteemed Jagiellonian University School of Dentistry in 2002. Driven by a passion for excellence, she pursued advanced post-doctoral training at the University of Michigan, specializing in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and Graduate Operative Dentistry. This rigorous training refined her skills in cosmetic procedures, shaping her artistic approach to transforming smiles. During the program that led to Master’s of Science degree, Dr. Ilona Fotek held a teaching faculty position, imparting knowledge and mentoring future dentists. To broaden her biological knowledge and to become an expert in the field of holistic and integrative dentistry, Dr. Fotek received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) from the American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry (ACIMD).

Dr. Paul Fotek is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a dental implant surgeon whose biologic and regenerative approach has earned him recognition as one of South Florida’s most respected biologic dental clinicians. Trained in both Europe and the United States, he combines clinical precision with a deep respect for the body’s natural healing potential.
Born in Poland and raised in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Fotek brings an international perspective to modern biologic dentistry. After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) in Poland, he completed post-graduate specialty training in Periodontics, Implant Surgery, and IV Sedation, and earned a Master of Science degree at the University of Michigan. His advanced education and commitment to excellence culminated in Diplomate certification from the American Board of Periodontology—a distinction that represents the highest level of professional achievement in his field and is held by fewer than half of all practicing periodontists.
Previously, Dr. Fotek owned and operated a successful private periodontal practice. In partnership with his wife, Dr. Ilona Fotek, Cosmetic Dentist and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, they made the strategic decision to consolidate their practices into one collaborative facility—Dental Healing Arts—to provide patients with more comprehensive, coordinated, and biologically aligned care. Together, they have developed unique treatment protocols that protect the body and help avoid dental procedures known to negatively affect the body’s meridians, integrating both science and holistic principles to support oral and systemic wellness.
At Dental Healing Arts, Dr. Fotek continues to provide advanced regenerative treatments, ceramic implant placement, and laser-assisted procedures and facial aesthetics designed to restore health and harmony to both the mouth and body.
A past President of the Central Palm Beach Dental Society, Dr. Fotek remains actively involved in organized dentistry and is dedicated to advancing biologic and evidence-based treatment protocols in periodontal and implant care.

Meet Dr. Monica Paz
For Dr. Monica Paz, dentistry has always been much more than a profession—it has been part of her life since childhood. Some of her most treasured early memories are of spending time alongside her father, a devoted orthodontist, in his dental office, where her love for dentistry first began.
Later, she had the privilege of working and learning alongside her father for several years before moving to the United States. Those years gave her not only invaluable clinical experience, but also a philosophy of care that has remained with her throughout her career. Her father taught her that helping someone regain a smile when they once felt unable to smile is one of the greatest rewards a dentist can experience.
His humility, wisdom, compassion, and belief that a dentist should never stop learning and improving continue to inspire her today.
Dr. Paz brings more than 20 years of experience in general dentistry in Massachusetts, much of it within the public health system. Building upon the foundation she received from her father, she also developed a strong background in functional orthopedics and the growth and development of the craniofacial system—an area of dentistry that has always held a very special place in her heart.
She has long been fascinated by the opportunity to guide craniofacial growth and development during childhood and by the important relationships among facial development, dental and skeletal alignment, airway and breathing, posture, sleep, and overall health. Returning to these principles within a holistic dental philosophy feels both professionally exciting and deeply personal. It brings back tender memories of learning beside her father while filling her with pride and renewed appreciation for the principles he instilled in her so many years ago.
Dr. Paz also brings a strong attention to detail and appreciation for aesthetics, balance, and beauty to her dentistry. Whether restoring a smile or developing a treatment plan, she strives for excellence and approaches her work with precision and an exacting eye, always seeking results that are both healthy and naturally beautiful.
Recently, she traded New England winters for the Florida sunshine and is delighted to begin this new chapter of her career in a state-of-the-art practice, where she can continue learning and growing while embracing a holistic approach that considers the patient as a whole—not simply their teeth.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Paz is a devoted mother of a son and daughter, and family and faith are at the heart of her life. She speaks four languages and has traveled extensively around the world, experiences that have enriched her appreciation for different cultures and her ability to connect with people from many backgrounds.
Outside the office, she loves running, dancing, painting, and painting ceramics—passions that reflect her appreciation for movement, creativity, detail, and beauty.
Above all, Dr. Paz hopes to honor her father’s memory by carrying forward the qualities she admired most in him: humility, wisdom, lifelong curiosity, excellence, and genuine love and compassion for every patient entrusted to her care.
